I understand that entering therapy can be daunting, and finding the right psychologist is essential. I encourage you to think about what you want from the therapeutic process and look for professional supports that align with your needs. Here is a little about me, to help you get a picture about who I am and what I specialise in.
I am a psychologist and the founder of Inner Waves Psychology. I have experience working in private practise, not-for-profit, and educational settings. I developed Inner Waves with the vision of creating an accessible and safe space for adolescence and adults both in person and online.
I am warm, down-to-earth and bring an open mind. I bring a non-judgemental perspective and will work with you to achieve your desired outcomes. I utilize evidence-based interventions and tailor these to suit your needs. I am trained in cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness-based practise, acceptance commitment therapy, and individual dialectical behavioural therapy.

Treatments We Offer…
CBT is a widely-used therapeutic approach that focuses on understanding and reshaping thoughts, feelings and behaviours. It helps individuals develop practical strategies to manage challenges by examining how thoughts influence emotions and actions.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
ACT encourages individuals to embrace their thoughts and feelings rather than trying to control them. Through mindfulness and value-driven actions, ACT fosters psychological flexibility, empowering individuals to live rich, meaningful lives aligned with their values.
Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT)
DBT blends cognitive-behavioural techniques with mindfulness and acceptance strategies. It's designed to help individuals manage intense emotions, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and improve relationships.
